Our Digital Smart Utilities Platform enables us to offer Utilities with the following services amongst others:
- Automated Meter Reading services:
ANNASA's smart utilities metering solution is designed to automatically read all meters under its management on a schedule or on demand. With over 99% of all meters read within 72hrs and 100% of all meters read within 120hrs, we eliminate the need for manual field meter reading that presents inaccurate and incoherent meter read data. - Utilities Wallet Pay (UW-Pay):
With the introduction of UW-Pay, end-consumers are able to purchase electricity and water online, receive a receipt and view their consumption online. Simply download "ANNASA Utilities" from Google Play Store, Apple Play Store and Huawei Store. Then register with ANNASA accordingly. Don't forget to set up the notification command so that we are able to alert you when your credit is getting depleted. - Reduction of electricity non-technical losses & implementation of energy balance:
ANNASA's smart meter and communications network installation process (based on our Field Work Management System) identifies and resolves incorrect customer account tariff mapping and incorrectly applied electrical engineering ratios. Faulty meters are replaced with high-quality smart meters and any active theft of electricity (e.g. end-customer bypassing the meter to draw electricity) is also detected during installation and resolved with ANNASA. - Theft and tamper detection:
After the solution is operational, our online meter data management application continuously monitors the meter event data to automatically detect and report on energy theft including detection of tamper flags, abnormal continuous zero readings, and delivery of energy to vacant lots / abandoned premises. - Reduction in service costs related to connect/disconnecting customers:
With our automated meter connect / disconnect service, triggered by the prepaid energy solution or on-demand, the ANNASA online meter data management solution eliminates the cost of dispatching field personnel to the meter location to physically connect / disconnect the electricity meter, as this is now undertaken remotely. - Smart debt collection:
Customer account balances are updated continuously to accurately reflect the customers' up-to-the-hour electric and water usage. Together with our automated disconnect / connect service, utilities will not encounter a situation where they are crediting end-customers for energy used after their account balances drop below zero. This eliminates post-pay scenarios where municipalities have to bill the customer for energy used and collect the related revenue over 60 days, 90 days or longer periods. - Improved customer satisfaction:
